restaurant walk 2023-01

SOLD OUT

A Taste of Walnut Creek Restaurant Walk is back! Join us for this fun evening for a taste of a variety of local restaurants, walking with family and friends, and running into many more friends on the street. This is a lovely opportunity to discover new restaurants, enjoy a bite from restaurants you love, and support local community organizations, including our beloved CBT.

Restaurant walk “passports” are $36 each. Simply present your passport at each participating restaurant (listed below) during the Walk and enjoy a delicious sample of their cuisine.

PRO TIPS:

Arrive early, & stay for the full event. Though the restaurants will not be offering samples before 5:30pm, you’ll need time to park, plan your path (there’s a map on the back of your ticket), & walk to your first stop. Then there’s a lot of ground to cover, so put in the time to enjoy the walk to its fullest.

Want to beat the crowds? Use your edges by visiting the restaurants at the southernmost point of our map (Pacific Catch, Gott’s Roadside, & Nick the Greek) and at the northernmost point of our map (The Little Pear, Montescacro, & Skipolini’s Pizza.)

Need a break? Extreme Pizza has a cute backyard & is including a pour of beer for every adult ticketholder. Perhaps stay and purchase a second pour?

Don’t save dessert for last! There’s lots of ground to cover, & spoiler alert: there will be more food than you can comfortably eat, so pace yourself, & grab dessert when you pass it ‘cuz it’s most efficient. 😉

Bring a layer & a light. The sun will set around 6:30pm, & although the weather forecast looks beautiful, you should be prepared for a three-hour outdoor event.

Got little ones? Bring a stroller. (Trust us 😉 )

Want to keep the party going? Montesacro and The Library Social Club are both offering discounted specialty wine pours both during & then for another half hour after the event. Then, the usual bar at Torsap Thai Kitchen will be open until 10pm.

Most importantly, thank your restauranteurs; and tell them that you’re with CBT. Let them see how we show up, & then hopefully, they’ll continue to donate to us.

HAVE FUN, thanks again, and we’ll see you downtown!
