Music

At Congregation B’nai Tikvah, music guides and uplifts our prayer and brings us together in a place of peace. So turn up the volume and enjoy some music from our Rabbi Cantor here or, better yet, come and enjoy it with us…

“Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”

— Berthold Auerbach

B’nai Tikvah is so much more than a synagogue for us. It has become our spiritual home, part of our love story, and part of our family. Kevin and I went Temple shopping while dating, and immediately fell in love with B’nai Tikvah’s sanctuary and community. People came up to us even before services to say hello! Within a month, a member deemed herself our “Temple mom,” and we formed a strong bond with Cantor Chabon. In just one year, the community held us through the passing of my beloved mother and celebrated with us as we got married in B’nai Tikvah’s sanctuary. We love going to services, and truly miss it when we are away. We look forward to strengthening this beautiful community and to give back the love we have been showered with!
We joined B’nai Tikvah to find a community in which my children could establish their Jewish identities and go through their B’nai Mitzvah experience. Little did I anticipate, that many years later, I would have an adult B’nai Mitzvah service of my own that strengthened my own bond to Judaism. I am grateful to have found this community in which my family has been able to learn and grow.
We came, we saw, we were conquered by the welcoming, warmth of everyone we encountered at B’nai Tikvah, by Rabbi Gutterman’s words and Cantor Chabon’s voice. We felt at home.
