Through a variety of youth, family and adult programming, the Israel & World Jewry Committee offers ways to build a strong connection between the people of Israel and our community. Our programs aim to widen our understanding of Israel’s society, history, and culture, and to encourage travel and study opportunities. Our committee is dedicated to deepening the connection of Am Israel  (the people of Israel) and Jews around the world to our Congregation B’nai Tikvah community. We have a strong partnership with the Contra Costa Jewish Community Center and its Under One Tent programs, the LGBTQ+ community (Keshet), local Israeli teen scouts (Shevet Egoz), and other local communities/organizations.
