David E. Bernstein

David E. Bernstein is University Professor and Executive Director of the Liberty and Law Center at the Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University. Bernstein is the author of numerous scholarly articles, primarily on constitutional law and history and on the law of expert testimony. He is also the author of several books, including Rehabilitating Lochner: Defending Individual Rights Against Progressive Reform (University of Chicago Press 2011) and You Can’t Say That! The Growing Threat to Civil Liberties from Antidiscrimination Laws (Cato Institute 2003). His latest book, Classified: The Untold Story of Racial Classification in America, will be published by Bombardier Press in 2022.
