Jeffrey Bloom is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the co-editor of Strauss, Spinoza & Sinai: Orthodox Judaism and Modern Questions of Faith (Kodesh Press 2022). After college, he studied at a number of yeshivot in Israel including Machon Shlomo and the Mir and now lives with his wife and four children in Clifton, New Jersey. He works as an analyst at a hedge fund and has been published in Mosaic, Commentary, and the New Criterion. He recently spoke at the University of Chicago on the topic of maintaining the “life of the mind” outside of the university.
