Rabbi Dr. Jeffrey Woolf

Prof. Jeffrey R. Woolf serves as a senior lecturer in the Talmud Department at Bar-Ilan University. He specializes in the history of Halakhah, medieval and Renaissance Jewish history, and the inter-action between Judaism, Islam and Christianity. He is the author of The Fabric of Religious Life in Medieval Ashkenaz. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in medieval Jewish History and Literature at Harvard University and has served as a visiting professor at Yale University, Yeshiva University, and New York University.
