Each 5-day institute is devoted to a specialized theme of profound Jewish and civilizational consequence. Designed for students who seek depth and desire to probe one great question with exceptional teachers in an environment of serious intellectual immersion.
Summer Residential Programs
Extended residential programs are designed for students who seek to think deeply about the big questions that will define their generation. Seminar learning is at the heart of our classic 11-day program in Princeton, and our new, month-long advanced seminar in Jerusalem. Students will study classic texts and learn the arts of reading, thinking, and arguing about the ideas that made Jewish and Western civilization.
Who Should Apply?
Designed for current 10th, 11th and 12th graders, Tikvah Scholars seek students who value:
- Intellectual curiosity and academic excellence; a genuine hunger for ideas and a track record of serious achievement
- Moral seriousness; a sense that ideas matter, that Jewish civilization matters, and that personal responsibilities to the past and the future matter
