Following U.S. Senate confirmation, Judge Matthew H. Solomson was appointed by President Trump to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in February 2020. Judge Solomson has issued notable decisions in areas spanning the court’s jurisdiction, including procurement, patent, tax, Fifth Amendment takings, contract, and military and civilian pay disputes. Prior to joining the court, Judge Solomson was Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for an $11B business unit of a Fortune 50 company, practiced government contracts law with several Washington, DC, law firms—including Sidley Austin LLP and Arnold & Porter LLP—and was a Trial Attorney in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice. He has served as counsel of record in dozens of cases before the National Courts, which include the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Following graduation from the University of Maryland’s JD/MBA program in 2002, with honors and Order of the Coif, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Francis M. Allegra, Judge, U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Judge Solomson is the primary author and editor of the legal treatise, Court of Federal Claims: Jurisdiction, Practice, and Procedure, first published by Bloomberg BNA in 2016. Since 2021, Judge Solomson has served as a faculty member for the Tikvah Legal Fellowship and has hired several of its alumni as law clerks.
Rabbi Steven H. Resnicoff is a professor at DePaul University College of Law, where he has received numerous awards for his teaching and scholarship, and director of its Center for Jewish Law & Judaic Studies (JLJS). Former chair of the Association of American Law School’s Section on Jewish Law and former chair of the executive board of the Jewish Law Association, Professor Resnicoff earned a BA at Princeton (where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and selected as a Scholar of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs), a JD at Yale, and advanced rabbinic ordination from the late sage, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, of blessed memory.

Rabbi Dr. Mitchell Rocklin is Director of the Jewish Classical Education Concentration track at the University of Dallas and the academic director and dean of the Lobel Center for Jewish Classical Education. His prior work on Jewish Classical Education as a research fellow with Tikvah was featured in the Wall Street Journal. He received his Ph.D. in history from the CUNY Graduate Center, held postdoctoral fellowships at Princeton University and Yeshiva University, and taught at both CUNY and Princeton. He is also a chaplain in the Army National Guard with the rank of Major. Rabbi Rocklin is also the president of the Jewish Coalition for Religious Liberty, as well as a member of the Rabbinical Council of America’s Executive Committee and Military Chaplaincy Committee. Robert P. George is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions. He has served as chairman of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), and before that on the President’s Council on Bioethics and as a presidential appointee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights. He has also served as the U.S. member of UNESCO’s World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST). He is a former Judicial Fellow at the Supreme Court of the United States, where he received the Justice Tom C. Clark Award. A graduate of Swarthmore College, he holds J.D. and M.T.S. degrees from Harvard University and the degrees of D.Phil., B.C.L., D.C.L., and D.Litt. from Oxford University. He has been a visiting professor at Harvard Law School and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

David E. Bernstein holds a University Professorship chair at the Antonin Scalia Law School, where he has been teaching since 1995. He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Michigan, Georgetown University, William & Mary, Brooklyn Law School, the University of Turin, and Hebrew University. Professor Bernstein teaches Constitutional Law, Evidence, and Products Liability.
Jerome Marcus is a lawyer in private practice, and the president of The Deborah Project, a public interest law firm that represents people affected by anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism on American university campuses. He is also a Fellow at the Jerusalem-based Kohelet Policy Forum, where his work relates to the law of war and Israel’s policies on that topic. Jerome has in the past taught high school classes on American History, the history of Zionism and on the modes of thought shared by Jewish law and Anglo-American law. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago’s college, business school and law school.
