Alumni Spotlight

Past and present Tikvah Legal Fellows are an important part of Tikvah’s community. Below are a few of the outstanding students from past years, all of whom serve in positions of leadership at law school and beyond.

Elias Neibart

Elias Neibart (TLF ’23) graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2025.  At Harvard, he served as an Executive Editor of the Harvard Law Review. Elias researches and writes about American public law, interpretive theory, and intellectual history. His academic writing has appeared or is forthcoming in the Baylor Law Review, Marquette Law Review, Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, New York University Journal of Law and Liberty and the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.  As an Executive Editor of the Harvard Law Review, his student writing appeared in that journal’s print and online forums.  A collection of his writing can be found here. As a Charles E. Shepard Scholar, he received his MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History at the University of Cambridge where he researched the ideological origins of America’s “Second Founding.” A 2020 graduate of Emory University, Elias earned his undergraduate degree in Political Theory and Philosophy, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude.

Nolan Edmonson

Nolan Edmonson (TLF ’23) is a second-year student at the University of Virginia School of Law where he is president of the Jewish Law Students Association and an editor on the Virginia Tax Review. Prior to law school, he attended Yeshiva University where he studied political science and served in various leadership roles within the student body. Nolan is interested in a wide array of subjects and particularly enjoys reading history. Next summer, Nolan will be an incoming summer associate at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP in New York City. Nolan is also an avid skier and is very involved with UVA Law’s world-renowned softball league.

Dore Feith

Dore Feith (TLF ’23) is a second-year student at Columbia Law School, where he is an editor on the Columbia Business Law Review and a Federalist Society board member. Last summer, Dore interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Before law school, he served as a special assistant to the Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development. Dore graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in History. He speaks Hebrew and Arabic. After graduation, Dore will clerk for Judge Steven Menashi on the Second Circuit.

Josh Blustein

Joshua Blustein (TLF ’22) is an associate at Sidley Austin LLP in Miami. He received a B.A. with honors in Economics and International Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to pursuing a J.D., Joshua spent a year in the health practice group at Mercer, a global consulting firm. At Johns Hopkins, Joshua was Prof. Hanke’s chief research assistant at the Johns Hopkins Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise. He was a 2022-2023 Krauthammer Fellow at the Tikvah Fund.

Jonathan Feld

Jonathan Feld (TLF ’22) is an associate at Boyden Gray PLLC. Jonathan received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was the president of the Yale Federalist Society. He also holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and Princeton University. He is a member of the bar in both Pennsylvania and D.C. He previously worked as a research assistant in the President’s Office of the American Enterprise Institute and served as a law clerk to Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse. His first historical monograph was published by the United States Navy in 2017. Jonathan was a 2022-2023 Krauthammer Fellow at the Tikvah Fund.

Elisheva Marcus

Elisheva Marcus (TLF ’22) is a law clerk for Chief Judge Matthew H. Solomson on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. She graduated from NYU Law, where she was co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law and Liberty and vice president of Law Students Against Antisemitism, a student chapter of the Brandeis Center. Elisheva was valedictorian of Touro University’s Lander College for Women, where she earned a B.A. in history and political science. Prior to her clerkship, Elisheva worked as a litigation associate at Jones Day in New York.

Dassi Solomson

Dassi Solomson (TLF ’22) graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, in May 2020 with a B.A. in economics and a dual-minor in mathematical science and political science. She is currently pursuing a joint J.D./M.A. in Security Studies at the Georgetown University Law Center and the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She also works full-time as a Supply Chain Business Intelligence Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton where she supports government clients working to secure the cyber supply chain. After spending multiple summers interning on Capitol Hill and within the Intelligence Community, Dassi spent the summer of 2022 interning in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s Office of General Counsel. Dassi plans to pursue a career at the intersection of national security and cybersecurity law and policy.

Ari Spitzer

Ari Spitzer (TLF ’21) attends Harvard Law School, where he is an editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy and is active in the Federalist Society and the Jewish Law Students Association. Prior to law school, Ari attended New York University Stern School of Business, from which he graduated summa cum laude in 2019. After graduating from NYU, Ari worked as a private equity analyst for Brookstone Partners. Last summer, Ari interned at the law firm of Consovoy McCarthy, PLLC, in Washington, DC. In 2022, he worked as a summer associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in New York City.
