- Seminars: Each accepted participant will select one seminar track. This year’s options include (1) Great Leaders and Decisive Moments in Zionist History, (2) The Soul of a Nation: Zionism Through Poetry, Song, and Story, and (3) The Wars of Israel: From the War of Independence to Operation Rising Lion. Seminars meet on Friday mornings, starting November 28th, and continuing through February 27th. Each seminar is capped at a small number to ensure active participation and lively discussion.
- Shabbaton Retreats: In November 2025 and in March 2026, fellows attend off-site retreats to celebrate Shabbat, cultivate friendships, immerse themselves in study and conversation, and to discuss how to sustain Jewish and Zionist engagement in college.
- Speaker Series: After the conclusion of the seminars, TIF convenes a wider audience from throughout Israel, and hosts leading public figures to address the pressing questions of Israeli society, national security and strategy, the U.S.-Israel relationship, and the role of Israel and the Jewish people in the West. Accepted participants are guaranteed admission to our speaker series events.
Acceptance to the Tikvah Israel Fellowship is by application. The timeline to apply is as follows:
- October 23rd: Application Closes
- September 28th – November 3rd: Interviews for select candidates
- November 5th: Students will be informed if they have been accepted to the cohort
Please read through the application carefully and answer each required question. This is a selective program with a limited number of spots. Please understand that we receive many more qualified applications than we can accept to the program. We will take the time to review each and every application carefully and thoroughly. Only some students will be offered an interview.
Students must commit to regular attendance for all events and participants will be expected to carefully prepare the assigned readings for their classes. Since this is a selective program with a limited number of spots, we expect enrolled students to meet these reasonable requirements. Students who are unable to meet our requirements will be asked to leave the program.
